Alessandro Adamo

Partner at Lombardini22, Alessandro Adamo heads the DEGW Business Unit of the L22 Group.
The son of an engineer at Foster Wheeler, after earning his high school diploma in science, he enrolled in Architecture and, during his studies, joined DEGW Italia as a “super junior.” Eager to prove himself, he began by drafting ink drawings, delivering materials on a Vespa, and making blueprint copies at print shops. In 1999, he became Head of the Consultancy Area for Italy; after two years at AEDES, he took over the leadership of DEGW Italia in 2009. Over the past twenty years, he has led workplace transformation processes for companies across Italy, managing relationships with strategic clients and coordinating design teams on projects for organizations such as L’Oréal, Deloitte, EY, Pomellato, Nestlé, Baker Hughes, and many others. Today, he is one of the leading experts in the integrated design of workspaces, thanks to an approach grounded in research and the observation of organizational behavior. His goal is to help companies enhance performance and well-being by aligning space with strategy and people.
