Mirko Balducci

Mirko Balducci holds a degree in Communication Design from ISIA Florence and specializes in digital experience design. He has explored various design fields and methodologies, ranging from speculative design (Nefula, 2014–2018) to data visualization (Infografica e Infoestetica, 2016–2017).
Since 2018 he has been working at Dotdotdot, where he has built expertise in interface design and the development of hybrid physical-digital experiences, supporting artistic direction and specializing in digital accessibility. He has led several cultural projects, including the "Musei Italiani" app for the Italian Ministry of Culture and the "Museo Multimediale della Lingua Italiana" (Multi), while also collaborating with institutions and brands such as Ferrero, Golden Goose, Fastweb, and Triennale Milano.
He was part of the team behind the new visitor experience at Fondazione Rovati in Milan (iF Gold Award 2024 and Red Dot Award 2024) and at the Castelli di Cannero for Terre Borromeo (DIA Gold Award 2025).
He is currently Director of the Information and User Experience Design division at Dotdotdot. A TEDx speaker in 2016, he has given lectures and workshops at numerous Italian and international institutions, including Politecnico di Milano, Università Bicocca, ISIA Florence, Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan, the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, and the Academy of Fine Arts in Split.
