The LightWalker Contest, RM Multimedia's project dedicated to young lighting designers

After the success of the first two editions, THE LIGHTWALKER CONTEST is back — a project created and organized by RM Academy, the training division of RM Multimedia.

The contest was conceived as a true journey that RM Multimedia wants to embark on with emerging lighting professionals under 30, to celebrate light, elevate their talent, and offer concrete educational and career opportunities.

The contest includes an initial pre-selection phase of the most interesting projects. Selected candidates will have the opportunity to take part in a workshop held from January 27 to February 1, 2025 at the RM Academy headquarters — a unique chance to learn and connect with industry experts.

The six finalists, selected through a final test at the end of the workshop, will present their light show in a prestigious setting: "Live You Play!" during the MIR trade show in Rimini, from March 23 to 25, 2025.

A jury of professionals will select the winner, who will be awarded the chance to visit the MA Lighting headquarters and will receive a Viz Key as a gift.
